I briefly stayed with friends who live on the Gulf Coast of Florida. One day I decided to conquer my fear of going in the water. Filled with pride and excitement I went back to my towel to bask in my accomplishment only to discover a couple standing at the edge of the water peering down at something moving at their feet. So of course I jumped up and ran down only to see a baby hammerhead shark beached on the shore, the next day a bigger one was caught by a fisherman.  I was in that water..... so were the hammerheads.
