This piece is based off magic and insects.
One summer I was slightly obsessed with watching videos of bot flies- (if you don't know about bot flies you should look them up) so in choosing my insects to put on scewers there had to be a bot fly.
my process of painting is like a puzzle. I don't know why I choose certain images to fit together but they make sense in my brain. bunny ears, bugs, bees, bot flies, and a cat named Basil- maybe it was "B" thing?
